These are still images pulled from Hi-speed digital-video footage. The balls were shot into a custom enclosure at > 300 mph, striking a 1” thick sheet of clear, ballistic glass. Filmed at 2800 frames per second, the footage captured the varying shape of the balls just prior to impact, at the moment of impact, and at the moment of full compression.
